Happy Birthday Grandma

September 19, 1923 is your special day
And I prepared this poem for you today
To greet you a happy birthday dearest Lola
This celebration is really really great I bet ya!

Gathered here today from Letter A
Tito Tony, Tita Tina and cute Alicia
They brought a lot of food and bottles of coca cola
That filled their monstrous Fortuner from toyota.

A boy and three girls from Letter B
They're Yego, Tita Grace, Ate Meg and Ate Macy
Wow! they came strong with their specialty
Cinnabon that's ooh so yummy!

Then of course the beautiful people of Letter C
Daddy Coly, mom Cecille, Nico and the pretty Me
Spring rolls, leche flan, malabon and cake that made everyone happy
I had no more room for these in my so small tummy.

And there are the mighty warriors of Letter D
Tita Allen, Tito Ver, Jim, Jed and Jakey
Big lechon, kare-kare is just too much for me
So delicious, so meaty and skin so crunchy!

Lola Baby, Lolo Tom, old friends and relatives came by too
Wished you well with their smile or two
Gifts and food they bring, how many, i have no clue
I know they are friends we label as true.

We thank God for giving us a Lola like you
Caring, smart, thoughtful and so lovely too
We always pray to Jesus for blessings for two
For good health and comfort for Lolo Art and you.
